Dragon Ball Daima New Trailer and release date
A new trailer for Dragon Ball Daima has been released, showing new villains and new main heroes. The trailer also reveals the October 2024 release date for Dragon Ball Daima. In this trailer, we see a younger version of Piccolo joining the cast of chibi heroes. The trailer also shows little Goku traveling to new planets with the Dragon Ball era's Power Pole. Goku travels to new planets in the universe in search of the Dragon Balls. According to the trailer, Goku falls victim to a conspiracy that causes him and his friends to become smaller. To fix this, Goku will go to a new world.
Dragon Ball: Daimaō was first revealed at New York Comic Con's Dragon Ball panel. During the panel, executive producer Akio Iyoku revealed that Toriyama was involved "beyond his normal capacity" in the show's creation. According to Iyoku, Toriyama oversaw Dragon Ball: Daimaō's story and character designs, among other things. With Toriyama's passing earlier this March, Daimaō will become the legendary creator's final project.
According to Anime News Network, Dragon Ball Daima is being directed by Dragon Ball Super director Yoshitaka Yashima and One Piece director Aya Komaki, in addition to Toriyama's participation. The series will also see the return of Goku's voice actress Masako Nozawa after a long hiatus.
